 Ian Baring-Gould presented these lessons learned from wind energy to an audience of marine hydrokinetic regulators. Lessons learned spanned the areas of technology advances, using collaborative approaches to involve key stakeholders
  using baseline studies to measure and prioritize wildlife impacts, and look at avoidance and mitigation options early in the process.
