The project aims to study wet, anaerobic storage to mitigate seasonal variation in algae productivity to reduce the risk of feedstock loos prior to conversion and to study how to enable the storage period to be used to add value to algae biomass without affecting the final fuel's yield or quality. This project will take the approach of engaging in stability research that addresses seasonal variability in production and that which provides opportunities to add value to algae biomass prior to conversion as well as to gain a fundamental understanding of post-harvest algae physiology to support cultivation gains.
